How quickly can I get my job?

As soon as you provide us with a brief and the information listed below we can get started straight away. With larger, would send over a couple of pages to agree the design before progressing with the work.

We aim to return a first proof to you within a couple of days of receiving the brief. If you require any amends we try to get them to you within a couple of days.

What do Abina need from me to get started?

  • A design brief outlining as much information as possible – what you would like and how you would like it to look

  • The copy as a text file (either a word doc, txt file or on an e-mail)

  • A pagination if it’s a large brochure

  • All high resolution images (300dpi jpeg or tif files) and logos (preferably as
    vector .eps files)

  • Any branding guidelines or specific fonts/colours that need to be used, or copies of work done previously if we need to follow and existing style

  • Anything you might have seen that you like as a basis for your design

How will I receive proofs

We will send you pdf proofs via e-mail throughout the project.

What about amends – how quickly do they get done and will you charge me for them?

We will do all amends for you as quickly as we can, if they’re simple changes we can do within a few hours. It will depend on the structure of the quote we have given you as to whether or not amends are included in the price - this will always be agreed at the outset.

What if you’re busy and my work is urgent?

We have a selection of freelance designers that work with us to help when we get busy, so as far as you are concerned, deadlines should never be a problem and we endeavour to start your project straight away.

How many designers will be working on my job?

We will dedicate one designer to your project. However, we are flexible enough to support one another if necessary.

Who will I talk to regarding my design?

You will be dealing with your designated designer directly and can contact them at any time during the working day either by telephone or e-mail.

Will I own the files at the end?

Yes, if required, we can give you a CD with your artwork on it.

What if I want to get my work printed?

We can arrange all your printing for you through our relationships with both a local digital printing company and litho printers. We get good prices and a very quick turnaround. If you prefer, we can send print-ready files to your existing supplier.
